FoxP2, which is the main element of the installation, is nothing more than the previously acquired by genetic engineering part of my DNA. This gene, commonly called the communication gene, discovered in 2001 by a group of researchers at Oxford, is responsible for human communication.
It occurs it is true also in other species, but only the human version allows us to communicate through language and its complex structure. Which in consequence separates us from the animals. The video that accompanies the installation refers to the possible ways of language functioning and its impact on our functioning in the world.
